62nd volume of ONE PIECE sold over 2.36 million copies!

The latest volume of Oda Eiichiro’s popular manga, ONE PIECE, which is in its 62nd volume, sold 1,789,000 copies during the week of May 16th, and now the total sales for the volume have reached to 2,368,000 copies!

Ever since Oricon’s Comic Ranking started in April 2008 (with ONE PIECE’s 50th volume ,which was released on June 2008), it  has been selling over 2 million copies for 13 volumes in a row, and has also been toping Oricon Weekly Comic Chart for the last two weeks with three consecutive volumes.
Will the dominance ever stop?
